How old must you be to rent/operate a golf cart?

You must be 21 years of age to rent/operate a cart
Do children need to be in car seats?

Florida law requires children age 5 & under to be secured properly in a crash-tested, federally approved child restraint device. If you’re traveling with little ones, plan to use your car seat in the golf cart.
Do I need to purchase insurance?

Your automobile insurance will be the primary insurance on your rental cart. Please add the company name & policy number to your waiver when completing online waiver.

30+ Days Before Rental – Full refund.
• Within 30 Days – Non-expiring credit equal to your deposit for future bookings.
Where can I drive the golf cart?

Feel free to discover the entire 7-mile stretch of Anna Maria Island, which encompasses Holmes Beach & Bradenton Beach. However, is unlawful to drive any golf cart on any beach on Anna Maria. Manatee County does not allow the use of any vehicles or bikes on the beach. They must stay on the roadways & treated like a vehicle.
You may take the carts anywhere on Anna Maria Island, but cannot go over any of the three bridges that exit the Island. This includes Manatee, Cortez, & Longboat bridges that are off-limits.
